The Foster Family Care Network is a unique partnership between Albertina Kerr Centers and Morrison Child and Family Services. These Portland, Oregon-based agencies work together to recruit, train, and support foster families who will care for the children and teens in their treatment programs.
Join us for an Orientation Meeting where we will discuss the basic requirements of becoming a therapeutic foster provider, the cycle of a child in foster care, the agencies and programs with whom we work, and the next steps in the process. Please call us at 503-542-4011 or email us at: Info@FosterFamilyCareNetwork.org if you are interested in attending an orientation, or if you would like to schedule an individual meeting. You are also welcome to join us without an RSVP. We look forward to meeting you!

Doing Foster Care Differently…The foster care of today isn't what you might expect. The Foster Family Care Network represents several specific programs, each with its own set of foster provider needs. There are programs tailored to kids suffering from neglect…kids with emotional or physical problems… kids with drug or alcohol issues. There are programs to care for pre-school and school-age kids, all in need of a nurturing place to call home. And there are programs for kids 11 to 17 who are at a crossroads and need a stable, caring environment to keep them on the right life path.
Forget about any negative perceptions and stereotypes you may have. At the Foster Family Care Network, we do things differently. The agencies we represent provide 24-hour support and crisis intervention, respite care, ongoing individualized training, and a tax-free monthly stipend – all backed by a supportive network of caseworkers and experienced foster care families who are always there to lend a hand. In the end, our foster providers are appreciated and treated with respect.
We are always looking for prospective full or part-time foster parents in the Greater Portland Metro Oregon area (we can only work with Oregon residents). Give us a call at 503-542-4011 or e-mail us at Info@FosterFamilyCareNetwork.org.
